The Littleton Regional Hospital Emergency Department is recognized as a Level III Trauma Hospital by the New Hampshire Trauma System
The Emergency Department provides 24- hour care to our community.
Our Mission
The Emergency Department at Littleton Regional Hospital is comprised of highly skilled health care professionals that seek to provide a high standard of care, understanding, support and education for our patients and their families, our peers and other health care providers. We promote wellness and cohesion throughout the institution and within the community in a caring and professional manner.
Our Vision
To be a team of health professionals, highly skilled and progressive in the delivery of emergency care to our community, who treat our customers with respect and dignity. We will act as a liaison between the community, Emergency Medical Services, and In-Patient services, providing seamless transition in the emergency care process.
In the past year our Emergency Department has treated over 8,800 patients, we see patients from across the United States and other countries due to the many vacation opportunities our beautiful region provides.
Our Physicians are certified in Emergency Medicine.
Our Nurses are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and emergency pediatric nursing as well as having the distinction of being 100% certified in Trauma Care.
Our ED-based Paramedics provide assistance to the local Emergency Medical System (EMS) in our North Country communities by providing advance life support through our paramedic intercept program.
Our EMS trained technicians and Health Unit Coordinators complete our ED Team.
