The Intensive Care Unit at LRH is equipped to provide comprehensive medical and nursing services to a variety of patients requiring specialized medical, surgical, and cardiac care. Our four bed intensive care unit provides a variety of inpatient and outpatient procedures including cardioversion, transesophageal echocardiograms, pacemaker insertions, unit-specific drug infusions, inpatient telemetry, and outpatient cardiac monitoring. The nursing staff is a highly skilled and dedicated group of healthcare providers who work in collaboration with the cardiologists and medical staff to deliver a high standard of quality care.
 The critical care unit at LRH is designed with state of the art monitoring equipment and twenty-four hour coverage by a certified critical care physician. The medical director of the intensive care unit is one of the three cardiologists on staff.
