Littleton Regional Hospital Community Sharps Program
   
Littleton Regional Hospital Diabetes Education Program would like to remind anyone who wishes to safely dispose of used syringes/needles at their local transfer station. Needles, lancets and syringes should NOT be placed in the trash.

LRH’s Diabetes Education Program provides free puncture resistant red containers for disposal of all needles, lancets and syringes (sharps).

When full, containers may be dropped of at LRH and replaced with new containers. Containers can be left at LRH’s Diabetes Education office on Monday and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. or at the Occupational Health office at LRH on Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
