Board of Trustees
A voluntary board of trustees governs Littleton Regional Hospital. This board includes representatives from our North Country community who are business leaders in the area, working together to make a difference in the lives of many.
Bill Bedor, Chair
Mr. Bedor joined the Littleton Regional Healthcare Board of Trustees in 2006. He currently serves as the Board Chair and previously served as Treasurer and Vice-Chair. In addition he is a member of the Executive, Governance, Quality and Professional Relations Committees. He's a local entrepreneur involved in a variety of business activities including the Mt. Washington Cog Railway where he serves as the Chief Financial Officer. He's a graduate of UNH and attended the former New Hampshire College, now SNHU. In addition, he is involved with a number of civic and charitable organizations including the Boys and Girls Club of the North Country and the Granite United Way.
John Starr, Vice-Chair
Mr. Starr joined the Littleton Regional Healthcare Board of Trustees in 2006 and he is a former Board Chair. He currently serves on the Executive, Governance, and Professional Relations Committees. Mr. Starr is the former owner of Starr Construction in Bethlehem, NH. He holds both a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Columbia University. He has served in the US Marines and the New Hampshire National Guard with deployments in Vietnam and in Iraq. In addition, he has volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America, Bethlehem Troop 230, and has served on the Profile High School Board including Chair of the Board for two years.
Roger Gingue, Treasurer
Mr. Gingue joined the Littleton Regional Healthcare Board of Trustees in 2012. He currently serves on both the Finance and Quality Committees. Mr. Gingue received a Bachelor's and Master's of Science Degree in Business Management from Plymouth State College and is the Chief Financial Officer for WM Connors Footwear in Lisbon, NH and Norwood, MA. His is active in the local community and past President of the Lisbon Main Street Committee, and is a past member of the Business Industry Association of New Hampshire. In addition, he was the 2001 recipient of the Business Industry Association's Above and Beyond Award and a Past President of the Lancaster Rotary Club.
Erin Hennessey, Secretary
Ms. Hennessey joined the Littleton Regional Healthcare Board of Trustees in 2014. She currently serves as the Secretary and is on the Finance Committee. Ms. Hennessey received a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Business Management and Accounting from Boston College and is an independent accounting consultant. Ms. Hennessey is also a State Representative in the New Hampshire Legislature serving Grafton 1. She also serves her community as a member of the New Hampshire Public Television Board of Directors and as the Volunteer Coordinator for Friends of Lakeway.
Mrs. Laurie Morgan, Auxiliary Representative
Mrs. Morgan joined the Littleton Regional Healthcare Board of Trustee in 2015 as the Representative from the Littleton Regional Healthcare Auxiliary. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from William Paterson University. Mrs. Morgan is an active volunteer with Littleton Regional Healthcare and has been a member of the LRH Auxiliary since 2006. In addition, she has significant volunteer experience with both St. Rose of Lima in Littleton, NH, and St. Mary's Church and School in Pompton Lakes, NJ.
Imelyn Fernandez, MD
Dr. Fernandez joined the Littleton Regional Healthcare Board of Trustees in 2015. Dr. Fernandez is Board Certified in Family Medicine and practices with Ammonoosuc Community Health Services in Whitefield. She received her Bachelor's of Science Degree in Biology at SUNY Stony Brook, her Medical Doctor Degree from the Ross University of Medicine, and a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Research Administration from Touro University International. Dr. Fernandez completed a Clinical Residency Program in Family Medicine at Corpus Christi Memorial Hospital.
Andrew Forrest, MD
Dr. Forrest joined the Littleton Regional Healthcare Board of Trustees in 2011 and again in 2014 while serving as the Medical Staff President. Once his most recent term as Medical Staff President was complete at the end of 2014 he was elected to the Board of Trustees for an initial two year term. Dr. Forrest completed his Bachelor of Arts Degree, Magna Cum Laude, at Brown University, and then received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Dartmouth Medical School, followed by an Internship and Residency program with the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Forrest is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He currently maintains a clinical practice at Littleton Regional Healthcare and serves as the Occupational Health Medical Director.
Stephen Goldberg, MD, Chief of Medical Staff
Mr. Hamblin joined the Littleton Regional Healthcare Board of Trustees in 2012. He currently serves as Secretary and is a member of the Executive, Finance, Governance, and the Professional Relations Committees. Mr. Hamblin graduated from Hobart College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English. He is the former President and CEO of Garnet Hill, the highly successful mail order business based in Franconia, NH. He presently serves as the Board Chair of The Holderness School and as a Trustee of the Bethlehem Colonial Theatre.
Mr. Nohl joined the Littleton Regional Healthcare Board of Trustees in 2014. Mr. Nohl is Associate Counsel for TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. in Annapolis, MD. He holds a Bachelor's Degree from Dartmouth College where he graduated Cum Laude and received his J.D. from William and Mary School of Law. He previously served as a Director and Executive Committee Member of The Profile Club, Inc. in Franconia, NH.
Deane Rankin, MD
Dr. Rankin joined the Littleton Regional Healthcare Board of Trustees in 2010. He currently serves on both the Executive and Professional Relations Committee. Dr. Rankin joined the Littleton Regional Healthcare Medical Staff in 2000. He is an Otolaryngologist practicing with North Country Otolaryngology, a hospital owned practice, on the LRH Campus. He received his Medical Doctorate from the Indiana School of Medicine, completed an Internship with the University of Vermont, and completed a Residency Program at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vermont. He is Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. Dr. Rankin is also the Co-Chief of Surgery at Littleton Regional Healthcare, and previously served as Medical Staff President.
John Sauter, MD, Emeritus
Dr. Sauter is a Trustee Emeritus on the Littleton Regional Healthcare Board of Trustees. He joined the Board in 1984 and has been an active Board Member ever since. He currently serves on the Professional Relations Committee and is the Chair of the Quality Committee. In addition, he is the Chair of the Littleton Regional Healthcare Care Charitable Foundation Board, helping to guide our fund raising efforts to support much needed health care programs and equipment. Dr. Sauter joined the Littleton Regional Healthcare Medical Staff in 1979. He received his Medical Doctor Degree from the State University of New York College of Medicine, completed an Internship with Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital, and a Residency Program with the University of Vermont prior to becoming a Fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has an office in Littleton, which is owned by the hospital, and he is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Sauter is also the Co-Chief of Surgery at Littleton Regional Healthcare, and previously served as Medical Staff President.
Ms. Tomlinson joined the Littleton Regional Healthcare Board of Trustees in 2013. She is the former Executive Director of North Country Home Health and Hospice, Inc. where she served for twelve years in that capacity. She brings significant health care experience to the table. She is also a member of the Quality Committee at Littleton Regional Healthcare.
Mr. Woodward joined the Littleton Regional Healthcare Board of Trustees in 2014. He is the Managing Partner of the Whale's Tale Water Park and Alpine Adventures in Lincoln. Mr. Woodward holds a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality from Paul Smith's College. He served as the Board Chair of the White Mountain Attractions Association for two years and now is an ex-officio member. He is an active volunteer with the Town of Franconia, and serves on both the Board of Directors for the Adaptive Ski Sports Partners of the North Country and the Boys and Girls Club of the North Country.
