Looking for more informaton about managing your health or an illness?  Check out these informative websites:  


The Patient Channel offers patient education information about health, wellness and disease in video and text format.


The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website has the latest information on child and adult vaccinations, influenza, and other health information for the public.


The American Heart Association website offers information for promoting heart health, a variety of health conditions that effect the heart, and family caregivers of patients with heart disease,

The American Diabetes Association is a great place to start for information about preventing and managing diabetes.

Medline Plus is sponsored by the National Library of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health.  This is a valuable source of current, reliable information for health promotion, disease prevention and the management of diseases for the general public and health professionals.


Support Groups

The following is a list of local support groups for patients and their families 

Alcoholics Anonymous

Meetings are held every Saturday from 8:30 - 9:30 am at the H. Taylor Caswell, Jr. Physicians' Office Building Conference Center, Conference rooms 1 & 2. Contact: NH Area Assembly at 1-800-593-3330.

Bereavement Support Group

North Country Home Health & Hospice, 536 Cottage Street, Littleton, NH. First and third Tuesday of the month from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. Contact: Sue Buteau at 603-444-5317.

Brain Injury and Stroke Support Group

Second Wednesday, every month, 6 pm at the Ammonoosuc Community Health Center, 25 Mt. Eustis Road, Littleton Contact: Jackie at (603) 616-1468 or Steve at (603) 444-2464 X9123.

Diabetes Support Group

meets on the second Wednesday of every month, at the Littleton Area Senior Center, from 1 to 2 pm. 

NAMI Support Group

Meetings are held monthly on the third Wednesday at 7:00 - 9:00 pm at All Saint's Parish, Main Street, Littleton, NH.Contact: Annette Charbonneau, 603-823-5374 or you can call the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill 1-800-242-6264 -

Northern NH/VT Ostomy Support Group

Ostomates, spouses, significant others and caregivers welcome to attend monthly meetings on the fourth Wednesday at 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Cottage Hospital in Woodsville, NH. Contact: Elaine Walker at 802-633-2360.

Weight Watchers

Join our group meetings held at Littleton Regional Hospital, 600 St. JohnsburyRoad, Littleton, NH in the New Medical Office Building Conference Room on Thursdays at 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. Contact:  Carrie Way, RN at 603-444-9329.
