Lippincott Nursing Procedures & Skills
Lippincott's Nursing Procedures & Skills is our official source for step-by-step clinical nursing procedures for all hospital clinical areas. The nursing management team has moved most LRH clinical nursing procedures to this location and has customized frequently used Lippincott procedures so they are consistent with our policies.
Lippincott's Nursing Procedures & Skills is the LRH official Nursing Department Clinical Procedure Manual. The website has over 2000 clinical procedures that are updated quarterly. This website can be accessed at the point of care through our Workstations on Wheels (WOWs) and all desk top computers on campus with access to the internet. To create a user ID and Password to access this resource off campus or through your smart phone or iPad, contact the Education Department.
Lippincott's Nursing Solutions
Lippincott's Nursing Solutions is a suite of courses designed to provide nursing staff with evidenced-based knowledge to acquire basic and advanced skills for the acute, critical care, maternal child and peri-operative settings. This includes the online edition of Gahart's IV Medication Administration, which is approved by our Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee as the source of current information for safe administration of infusion therapy. Plymouth State University offers a generic (full-time, on campus) BSN program and an online RN-BSN completion program. Nurses who completed an ADN at any Community College in the New Hampshire University System (WMCC, LRCC) pay the same tuition rate for the BSN completion program. Southern New Hamshire University offers a variety of online programs. Through an educational partnership between SNHU and LRH, employees and their family members qualify for a 10% discount on all SNHU online degrees. In addition, nurses who completed an ADN at any New Hampshire Community College since 2010 can complete their BSN online for the same tuition rate plus the 10% discount! University of Maine - Fort Kent Online RN-BSN program. This program is designed to be as flexible and responsive to individual student needs as possible within the constraints of curriculum, university and accreditation requirements, and quality educational theory. The length of the program is dependent upon the amount of acceptable transfer credit; success in completion of CLEP, proficiency, and nursing examinations; and part-time or full-time status. In most instances a minimum of two years should be anticipated for completion.
