Peter J. Wright, FACHE, Elected to American College of Healthcare Executives Council of Regents

Littleton, NH - Peter J. Wright, FACHE, chief operating officer, Littleton Regional Healthcare, Littleton, has been appointed to the Council of Regents, the legislative body of the American College of Healthcare Executives. The Council of Regents serves as the vital link between ACHE and affiliates by approving governance and membership regulations as well as promoting ACHE programs, services and activities within their respective areas.

Peter J. Wright, FACHE, chief operating officer, Littleton Regional Healthcare, LittletonWright took office at the Council of Regents meeting March 17, 2012, during ACHE's 55th Congress on Healthcare Leadership at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. As a Regent, Wright will represent ACHE's membership in New Hampshire.

Wright also is a board member of the Littleton Industrial Development Corp., member of the Littleton Rotary Club, Trustee of the Vermont State Colleges and board member of the Lamoille South Regional Education District.

Board certified in healthcare management as an ACHE Fellow, Wright is also president of the Northern New England Association of Healthcare Executives (a local chapter of ACHE) where he has served as board member since 2003.

Wright received his master's degree in Administration from Saint Michael's College in Winooski, VT, and his bachelor's degree from Lyndon State College in Lyndonville, VT.

The American College of Healthcare Executives is an international professional society of more than 35,000 healthcare executives who lead hospitals, healthcare systems and other healthcare organizations.
