LRH Charitable Foundation Receives Support from Eagles Club

The Littleton Regional Hospital Charitable Foundation received a $5,000 gift from the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Littleton, NH Chapter. Diane Brown, LRH employee in the surgical services department, and Madame, State of NH, Fraternal Order of Eagles was instrumental in the Foundation receiving this gift.

The gift is restricted to assist Cardiac Rehabilitation patients at LRH receive cardiac rehabilitation services by covering the patient co-pay for these services. Lannette Madden, RN and coordinator of cardiac rehabilitation services at LRH explains, "Often times patients who are unable to pay the co-pay after their insurance covers a portion of the cost do not complete cardiac rehabilitation following surgery or a heart related incident. Cardiac rehabilitation is important to long term recovery following heart attack or surgery. We are so pleased that this money is available to our patients."

The LRH Charitable Foundation's mission is "to to create community and regional charitable support for Littleton Regional Hospital and programs and services that promote the health and well being of the communities it serves."
