Emergency Medical Services Education

As a designated Medical Resource Hospital, Littleton Regional Hospital supports the EMS, public safety, ski patrol and first responder community by providing top quality educational and training programs including monthly continuing education programs designed for all levels of EMS education from First Responder to Paramedic.
North Country New Hampshire Emergency Medical Services Conference and Littleton Regional hospital, in affiliation with the North Country Health Consortium, Northern New Hampshire Emergency Medical Service Council the New Hampshire Bureau of EMS (Department of Safety) and the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services present the only 4 day “Statewide” Emergency Medical Service Conference in New Hampshire. Littleton Regional Hospital is affiliated with a number of Advanced Level Educational Institutions for the provision of pre-determined clinical training (Paramedic level) in such areas as Pharmacy, Emergency Department and Operating Room. Littleton Regional Hospital also provides clinical training/observation for local EMT-Basic programs in our Emergency Department in order to fulfill their course requirement (National Standard Curriculum) for clinical intervention as well as providing required updates for the maintenance of advanced licensure level of EMT – Intermediate with Medication Module on an annual basis. Littleton Regional Hospital provides for the necessary updates required for New Hampshire Treatment Protocols for new, updated or revised treatment standards for all levels of licensure.
