LRH Internship Opportunities
Pictured above, Carrie Carbonneau a UNH student majoring in Kinesiology and Exercise Science looks on as Lannette Madden, RN, ACE-AHFS and Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation Services examines patient information. Ms. Carbonneau will spend the summer at LRH in the Cardiac Rehab, Cardiac Lab, Physical Therapy, ICU and Orthopedics’ departments. The internship at LRH will complete her studies while allowing her to explore options within a rural hospital setting.
In an effort to encourage students who are furthering their careers in healthcare, Littleton Regional Hospital provides opportunities for students attending local and national universities to complete internships at LRH. Mike Frace, RN, MSN, RRT and Nursing Education Director at LRH states, “LRH is fortunate to have many students interested in completing their internships in northern New Hampshire. We provide mentoring opportunities in all clinical areas. We also offer opportunities for medical students seeking guidance under the direction of medical staff as part of their training.”
