LRH Nursing Staff Supports Area Agencies
Littleton, NH Nurses are defined as “giving” individuals and Littleton Regional Hospital’s nurses are no exception. During National Nurses Week LRH ordinarily extends a special thanks to each member of the nursing staff as a token of appreciation. This year, however, the nursing staff decided that rather than receive a gift, they wanted to put the money that would have been spent to good use by supporting area agencies and members of the Hospital staff who might need financial assistance.
Food Pantry in Littleton, Burch House in Bethlehem, and Bancroft House in Franconia, will receive a $500 donation to support their outreach services. In addition, LRH’s Helping Hands a fund established to support staff who might be facing a difficult time or financial hardship will receive $500.
Isabelle Garibaldi, RN, MSN, CCRN, chief nursing officer stated, “The decision on behalf of the nursing staff at LRH comes as no surprise, as they are one of the most community minded groups I have had the pleasure and honor to work with. LRH is fortunate to have such a dedicated group of nurses caring for patients and their families.”
