LRH Charitable Foundation Hosts Winter Event
Registrations are now being taken to participate in Littleton Regional Hospital Charitable Foundation's Mountain Classic annual skiing and snowboarding event. Participants can ski or board on Sunday, March 2, 2008 at Loon Mountain or Saturday, March 8, 2008 at Cannon Mountain from noon until 4:00 pm. The minimum donation for each participant is $25 for adults and $15 for children under 16. Participants are encouraged to raise pledges from family and friends based on the number of runs they take or just an outright gift. The top fundraiser will choose from a brand new pair of skis or snowboard donated by Franconia Sports Shop.
Proceeds from the event benefit LRH's Pastoral Care Services Program. Littleton Regional Hospital's Pastoral Care Program Services team provides support to patients, their families and members of the Littleton Regional Hospital staff who may be facing a healthcare crisis or difficult situation during their stay in the hospital or after they return home.
In addition to skiing and snowboarding, a spectacular raffle and silent auction is part of this fun filled fundraiser. Raffle prizes and auction items include season passes to Cannon Mountain and Loon Mountain, dinner gift certificates, gift baskets, sporting equipment, massages, and much more.
