Admissions
Our friendly and courteous registration staff are here to serve your registration needs whether you are here for a simple lab test, x-ray test, same day surgery, or inpatient services. Registrars are most often your first contact when you come to the hospital for treatment or services. They are responsible for setting up your visit information so that caregivers have basic information about you to properly care for you. Admissions staff will also obtain general written consent for treatment from you. Additionally, registrars collect financial information from you so that we may accurately bill you or your insurance for services rendered. You are also advised of your basic rights and responsibilities as a patient under State law, offered copy of our Notice of Privacy Practices as required by federal law, and informed of your rights and obligations as a Medicare and Medicaid beneficiary (where applicable).
Pre-Registration
Phone pre-registration is conducted for all patients who are scheduled for various services at Littleton Regional Hospital such as diagnostic imaging (x-ray) services, same day surgery, and inpatient services. Our friendly staff will contact you by phone to collect basic demographic and financial information so your wait time in the Admissions Department is reduced when you arrive to the hospital for your scheduled appointment. You may also stop by any time Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. and pre-register in person. Once pre-registered, all you have to do is present your insurance information (if any) and sign consent to treatment and you’re on your way to your appointment. We realize your time is valuable and pre-registration is a great way to keep you on time for your appointment.
Ancillary Scheduling
Our friendly scheduling staff provides ancillary scheduling services for Diagnostic Imaging, Echocardiography, and Cardiac Lab. They assist physician practices with scheduling of basic x-ray testing including MRI, MRA, CT Scan, mammography, ultrasound, and all other basic diagnostic x-ray procedures. Additionally, they are responsible for scheduling echocardiography and cardiac lab services such as Holter monitor tests, basic EKG, and exercise treadmill test. Scheduling staff will also assist patients who wish to reschedule or cancel previously scheduled tests. To cancel or reschedule a test, please contact 444-9072 or 444-9612.
